Seedcount is a browser-based lawn seed quantity planner. It helps connect your measured lawn area, your product's seed rate and the weight of the bags you can buy.

What it calculates

The planner adds the area of your rectangular lawn patches, multiplies the total by the application rate you enter, and applies an optional extra quantity allowance. It converts the result from grams to kilograms and rounds up to whole bags. An optional bag price and one delivery amount produce a quoted order total.

The planning guide shows the formulas and a complete worked example. The example button fills demonstration measurements and quantities; it does not select a product or supply a retailer price.

Your product instructions matter

Seedcount does not choose grass varieties, judge site conditions or recommend new-lawn or overseeding rates. Use the instructions applicable to your seed pack and job. Dimensions, rates and bag weights are entered by you, and no external product or price feed is connected.

What a whole-bag result means

A rounded bag count covers the calculated weight. It may leave seed above the planned amount. Buying a full bag does not require applying the whole contents to your lawn; follow your product's instructions.

Calculations run in your browser. Downloading or printing gives you a copy to keep. The planner does not create an account or send your input values to an application server. See the current privacy information for the scope of those statements.
