If a number looks wrong
- Use metres for patch length and width, rather than centimetres or millimetres.
- Count each measured patch once, and avoid overlapping rectangles.
- Enter the seed product's applicable rate in grams per square metre.
- Use kilograms for the seed bag weight: 500 g is 0.5 kg.
- Check whether an extra allowance is intended; 0 adds nothing.
- Expect a rounded whole-bag count. Cost uses that count, with delivery added once.
Keeping enough detail to check
Download the seed plan to keep your measurements, rate, allowance, bag weight and quoted price together. Those values and the result you expected can help reproduce an issue. Avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
For seed suitability and application instructions, use the information for your actual product. Seedcount calculates quantities rather than selecting seed or giving lawn-care instructions.
